How do you Daisy Chain case fans (120mm)?

I get abit confused, i see videos on youtube with people haveing 7+ fans all LED's and i am thinking how do you connect that many fans, and i got told you have to daisy chain them?

if the fans have a 4 pin molex connector how do you daisy chain them because i want to know because when i do my first build i wont get anything wrong

So if i had an antec 1200 case with 2 of the optinal 120mm fans installed, ( it will be 8 fans all together 7 of them will be 120mm and one would be 240mm i think) i will need to get 4 of these?

Don't any of your fans come with splitters? When I bought some fans they had shorter splitters like the ones linked.

im not sure lol, the fans i want to get might not come with splitters but if i wanted splitters can i hook up 4 120mm blue led fans, one 200mm blue LED in one daisy chain?

and connect the two optional fans with one splitter? so all i need is two splitters if i do it this way

Almost every fan I've bought comes with a dual molex and fan header extension. You could endlessly connect these things.

They'd run at full speed if course unless you drop the voltage.

The fans in the antec 1200 have molexs like this

It's kind of hard to see but basically you cann plug another molex into the back of that one and then plug them into the back of another one etc. etc.

And don't worry about how many you can have in one chain. They looked at it a while back and worked out a while ago you could have as many fans as it would take to fill up your case.

Old thread i know but how would you control the voltage on these fans?
For example i have a 360 rad with three 120 fans. I want to control the speed of all three fans from just one controller channel on lets say a four channel controller - how do they do that?

You'd need a fan Controller that allows the control of Molex fans, or you'd use/make a converter from Molex to a standard fan connector. The one I pictured above is almost right but youd need the other gender fan connector. You'd also need to have a controller that can handle the current from all the fans.
