How do you delete saved e-mail addresses...

from MSN? As in when you sign on - if you click on the drop down box it saves all the e-mail addresses which have been used on the computer. Normally it's just a case of deleting the cookies, but I'm not used to this computer. It's one of these Applie Mac things and it has Messenger:Mac 5.0 installed. I have deleted temp/cookies/history and even unistalled/reinstalled it but the old e-mail addreses are still saved which have been used on this computer.

I guarantee this is in the wrong section, but I'm not too familar with the rest of this forum. :rolleyes:

Does that version of Messenger not have the 'Forget Me' button on the login screen?

Just had a quick look on Google, and the method to remove those email addresses seems to be:

There is a preferences file that stores these, you can remove the addresses manually or just delete the whole file (in which case you will have to go through the first time wizard but will not lose any info). The file is found here: <user's directory>/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/com.microsoft.Messenger.plist
and to delete
Com.microsoft.MessengerDaemon.plist
MSN Messenger User Cache
