How do you disable voicemail on a mobile? (Orange Newtowrk)

As per title.

I hate having the little voice mail icon on my phone, all my mates know not to leave me voice mail messages yet some like to wind me up by leaving one and obviously randoms who ring me don't know.

I want to disable it permanently if possible so the phone just keeps ringing.

Googled this and apparently you can disable it through 450 but i've no idea where it's hidden under.

You can ask them to turn it off or disable auto diverts then change your phones settings. Calling them isn't that hard.....

Sometimes you might not want callers to be able to leave a message on your Answer Phone. To switch off your Answer Phone call your usual customer service number.

You don't want anybody to able to leave you voicemails because you hate the little voicemail icon on your phone - are you serious? LOL

Yeah, never have any credit to ring and delete them and it gets on my ****. If it's important they'll ring back. Cheers for the info, only reason I asked was because I couldn't find the option even though I had rung 450 and the Orange customer service online is appaling.

Why not just turn off call forwarding on the phone? That way it would never forward the calls to voicemail and you don't need to get through to customer services to get them to turn it off.
