How do you dispose of an air rifle/pistol ?

As subject really....if you have an air rifle and pistol which you want to get rid of, how do you get rid of them ? I presume you cant just throw them in the bin as normal or can you ?

Take it to your local police station who will dispose of it properly for you. But I'd suggest taking it in a bag and letting them know what you've got before you start waving it about in reception

Walking into a police station with a backpack... probably more likely to get you shot than a gun nowadays

I'm not even allowed toy guns let alone air rifles but if i was you I'd ring my local Cop shop & tell them i was bringing it up. I would then dismantle it & bag it up then tape the bag so it is hard to unwrap. Then i would take it up the Cop shop.
Do Not carry Any Ammo at all, Dispose of this separately.

do they still have them things where you can hand them over to a police station...if someone finds it in your bin etc, it cuz be used to imatate a real gun and used in a robbery, then how *** u feel lol....

Goodness me, this is an AIR rifle! Its really simply a toy, throw it in the bin if you don't want it. Worse thing which could happen is nothing! Maybe disassemble it a bit first though. Its not some sort of replica is it?

Air rifle and pistol. The air rifle probably isn't much of an issue but if you have a desert eagle .50 down the front of your jeans then maybe walking into the police station with it isn't the best idea unless you have a good story.
