Color vs. black and white

Twelve percent of people dream only in black and white.[40] Studies from 1915 through to the 1950s maintained that the majority of dreams were in black and white, but these results began to change in the 1960s. Today, only 4.4% of the dreams of under-25 year-olds are in black and white. Recent research has suggested that those changing results may be linked to the switch from black-and-white film and TV to color media.[41]

I'm not sure if I actually dream in colour now I think about it, although I know colour sometimes creeps in; what is usually projected does tend to be very dark and gloomy.

Does anyone dream very clearly or is it usually a complete mess of incomprehension? When I dream (rarely it seems), I seem to be stuck in loops and blurred tunnel-vision.

when i have dreams it seems to be related to a thing ive said or seen or heard during the day or last few days.

it wont be related to the main point of the day, or the main thing i'll have done that day, but it will involve a passing comment or somthing i saw then instantly forgot about

i think i dream in colour aswell

in great coloured detail. it;s more like I'm awake in the dream (but believing it to be reality)

although the diazepam and zopiclone do seem to have pretty much stopped me dreaming completely.

I dream quite often but it's very vague I don't know if i dream in color or not. All I remember about my last dream is that there were vampires coming for me or something along those lines.

When I dream they are in colour, and its like im fully submersive event where Im in my own world and have full control.

They normally envolve people I dont know very well talking about something that needs to be done and how we are going to achieve it.

I just had a weird dream this morning before waking up and funnily enough it was in black and white, but I am sure I dream in colour most times, from dreams I can remember that is.

I had a superbly weird dream...it was in colour and felt like a so so wrong Simpson's episode :S

I have really vivid dreams, where everything looks like a bright watercolour painting, kind of like opening sequence to Street Fighter and i’m in full control of them, is strange but fun. Almost always remember them too.

before this week, i couldn't have told you..

but all week i've had TF2 and L4D mixed dreams, with my Blue SG taking out Boomers and Hunters, with red blood spots on the wall

Not really sure, probably colour. The visual aspect of a dream is very secondary and usually highly innacurate I find, the emotional response is it's basis.

If I remember any of my dreams they are in colour and absolutely ridiculous and meaningless, usually made up of things that happen in my life but all jumbled together into a completely ridiculous and senseless sequence so that it's so confusing it's like trying to read chinese.

Last night I had a dream that I was driving my car and I hooned it round a bend and started spinning out of control, I felt the spinning getting faster and faster and became really dizzy and woke up short of breathe, dizzy and disoriented.

Was weird. In Colour too.
