How do you game?

Arcade stick for arcade games, such as SF4, Virtual Tennis, arcade classics, Super Meat Boy etc.

Xbox controller for racing games

mouse and kb for FPS's and everything else.

Mouse & Kb for most games.

I am annoyed with remapping buttons, so when the gamepad isn't set up correctly from start like ps3/x360 controls then I think ''sod it''...

I prefer keyboard too for fighting games, I only play some games with the pad, stuff like Devil May Cry, Sega Rally Revolution, Geometry wars, Footy games, etc... I often try giving ''couch'' gaming a go but usually end up swearing due to the controls or not being able to control everything with the pad correctly ( eg. TDU2).

If a game works correctly out of the box with a directimput pad without having to remap everything I try playing with the pad. Some 3rd person adventure games eg. Tomb Raider I play with a pad too.

But shooters, strategy, fighting games, and most driving games, mouse&kb>anything.

I started off as a joystick gamer (VIC-20, C64) before moving onto various consoles, and eventually the PC.

I find the keyboard and mouse combo superior for all games except the following:
Space combat (joystick will always rule here)
Racing (a good wheel does the trick)
Fighting (gamepad rules)

Mouse + Keyboard, since my last console was a SNES :p

I also have a Ps2/Ps3 style joystic that I used to play only racing games, but last year I got my 1st driving wheel... I used it to play NFS most wanted and now it is just sitting there waiting for a new game with in car/hood game camera to come out...
