Hi guys, just a quick one.
Currently I'm starting doing a little paid work with a home studio setup, mainly of babies & toddlers. I'm also asking around for willing models to do some TFP for me to build my portfolio.
Currently I have a free website with galleries of my work on and a page on facebook, the facebook site has got me 1 customer so far (only been doing this 2-3 months), but my other 5 bookings have come through word of mouth from a previous customer to a friend or family member.
I just wondered how you guys who do paid work get yourselves new bookings? I'm slowly building a printed portfolio up but I expect that to take months to give me a range of styles and subjects.
