Hey guys, I got the Asus 27 ips on Saturday which is amazing by the way, and but I want to know how I can keep it looking amazing. Do you cover the monitor overnight or just dust it? Also how can you clean the screen without leaving marks?

Any tips on tools or methods to maintain this would be much appreciated thanks

Clean the dust of with a microfibre cloth, then use a good screen cleaner on another cloth and allow to dry. This is how i keep mine in order.

I never cover my monitors but then again the rooms aren't that dusty.

A lot of people use cleaning solutions but I've never found them necessary. Get a mocrofibre cloth from Tesco, dampen a corner and use that to clean. Buff with the dry part of the cloth. No streaks whatsoever. I think the cloths are about £1 and will last forever.

That for the screen, body or both mate? Will grab one

Good for both mate, you can probably wipe the body down when the cloth is just dry. I do.

Microfibre clothes can be used for anything :P

Cam.

As already mentioned, good for both. I've had the same cloth for about 5 years now and use it for monitors, televisions, tablets and phones. They're completely lint free, non-abrasive and as I mentioned before they last a long time as they're washable. They dry quickly too!

Of course if any of the bezel is a piano black finish, eventually the micro fibre cloth is going to cause swirl marks/micro marring on the finish, thanks to the rubbish laquer coating they use. They only thing I can recommend from experience is to always try to blow off as much dust as possible, then wet the microfibre cloth. This well help stop the cloth from dragging the dirt particles accross the finish.

For the screen, I find the moshi teraglove to be even better than meguairs micro fibre cloths or any other cloth I have tried. One side for dust, the other side for smudges. And it comes with a little spray bottle you can use to moisten it with water first.
