How do you keep your pc clean?

You clean your pc? ... Nah, I do actually - about once every year or so. Usually when I rebuild / install new components!

A very powerfull hoover, an electric compressor and a soft unused paint brush!

lol perhaps if you're after a reason to upgrade....

I've always used compressed air in a can, but i'm getting tired of buying more cans, they're very pricey.

How much does one have to part with to get an air compressor that is good enough for a PC?

Depends on the hoover. We have a Dyson cylinder (latest one) at work and the static it builds up is unbeleivable.

One inch sparks from the tube against anything metal and your legs if you let it get close enough!

Gives you quite a whelp!

My antec P182 doesn't get much dust inside it as it uses filters, but dust does still get in. I've noticed some on the CPU fan and some on the intake fans. A good hard blow, with a hoover going near it (using the pipe bit with the nozzle).

Trust me, it can. Put your PC in my house for 5 minutes and it'll be covered in dust.

Don't need to really apart from clean the fans once a year the akasa eclipse + filters keeps dust at bay.Laminate flooring works wonders too.
If I'm feeling a little OCD I rumage around inside with a feather duster then waft one of my side panels at the side of it to clear any dust that is in there.

I don't, its quite dusty atm, I just rub off any large chunks of dust that may have accumulated on the fan grills

Although way back I used to be obsessive about keeping the PC clean, now.. meh. Probably would make the effort again the next time I make a full build but its like with new trainers, you bother to keep em clean the first few times but after that it's just too much effort
