How do you make a windows bootable DVD ?

I have ran out of CDs to make them but I have a nice stash of dvds not used. How do you go about creating one that will "boot from" just after posting ?

Never tried this, but you could try copying the CD you want to boot from to an image on your hard drive, and then burn the DVD from the image.

Of couirse you need to obay any copyright laws.

You'd make a DVD the same way as a CD. All it looks for is the boot record, if that's on there it'll work. Bios doesn't care what the medium is as once it leaves the CD/DVD-RW drive it's just an ATA stream as far as it's concerned.

try dvd decrypter mate to make a bootable image then a bootable dvd easy as that mate

nlite is what you're after, it will ensure the media is bootable.

I personally use THIS method but i've never tried it using a DVD.
