Hi,

Well I got a buffing pad that fits onto the drill, I also know it needs to spin about 1800rpm iirc. So how do you polish using a buffer? You stick the polish onto the paintwork and then use the buffer to work it in? Then use a new pad to buff it out when dry?

So you actually have a standard DIY drill with a buffer attachment?

Are they actually any good?

Got it from Halfords, was only £2.50 so i gave it a whirl i would think. Ideally you want a drill that can hold a certain speed without holding it. The cloth i got for it cost £6.50 though, need another one maybe for polish application.

Hopefully sometime next week my car will get a good going over with it.
