How/Do you pre-drink?

Sitting in my room with Boys Noize booming on my 2.1 with a few friends drinking downstairs before we go out. I basically have to be alone for a bit and get myself in the right frame of mind. :o

Anyone like this? Do you always pre-drink? If not why not? Do you enjoy it?

Don't get me wrong...i love it but just for the first bit, my room > *. :o

We always predrink. I'm not great at getting alcohol in me quickly, so I generally have some drinks whilst in my room playing on the PC or whatever before I go to prelash.

Prelashing for me is a casual drink, because I'm already tipsy, whereas everyone else is concentrating on getting as much booze into them as they possibly can in a short time :p
 
The only bad thing about pre-drinks is sometimes you end up drinking more than you should as spirits are easier to drink faster.

However, you can't beat a nice pint in a lush bar :cool:
 
I have a bottle of Southern Comfort next to my desk. So I just work my way through that slowly while posting on forums/talking on MSN.
 
I always pre drink before I go out. Just cheaper really :) Go halves on a bottle of vodka with my mate, £5 each and that usually covers you for the majority of the night :p
 
Definitely, I'm going to the kitchen in 5 minutes actually before we all head out!

Do the same, although get Tesco Value Vodka for £6, even cheaper!
 
Pre-drink? Is there such a think as "pre drinking"? If you consume alcohol in any form you are drinking anyway aren't you?

Not much for me these days though as I knackered my kidneys (or liver, one of them) years ago after drinking too much (think it was Millenium New Years Eve). I must have had about 20 pints down the bowling club and God knows how much gin/whisky/whatever was there.

Bloody taught me a lesson in hospital that did. Plus I'm far too old to be necking now.
 
Most of the time I just head out to the pub to meet mates and start drinking then unless there is a reason for pre-drinking or we're waiting around for someone. I was slightly more likely to pre-drink when I was a student but even then it wasn't a massive part of going out.

Technically yes but it just refers to drinking before you head out to a regular drinking establishment.
 
Me and my mates generally gather at one house before we go out. We generally buy beer anyway because when we get back we will be having another party :cool: so don't want to be having to go to the shop.

Obviously some gets consumed before we set off and it does liven things up a bit, but it isn't some weird ritual I perform alone.
 
We will always prelash. In fact I can't think of a night out where I haven't had at least 4 cans of Bow before I've gone out. Even If im heading to bars before the club, 4 cans minimum first, this way I can have a hell of a night for under £15 sometimes even £10! I'll begin as im getting ready, but we normally congregate in the kitchen for drinking games.

Its good when you prelash sitting down, then as you get up to leave you realise just how drunk you are and how good a night your going to have :D

Indeed, you don't realise how dunk you are until you go outside and try to do stuff, attempt to buy some fags or find change for the buss.
