How do YOU pronounce Le Creuset

Lol, so many wrong ways, all because of the Le.
Surly you know that's not how you pronounce that word.

Luh Cru-Say

*may of used google for the second part.

I'd like to clarify that I left 'Le' as 'Le' because everyone knows how to pronounce it. Disregard its inclusion if it's going to cause confusion.

Le Cree-U-seh

edit: after seeing Freefaller's pronunciation I am actually not sure if I pronounce it as above or as he has written it

Leughhhh crooosew.

But to be honest you're better off buying any equivalent & slightly cheaper cast iron cookware :D

Le-cru-set.

But only to annoy the other half who's a French teacher.

Le-cruz-eh would be more correct. I expect. Though I don't get corrected ;)

None of the examples here seem right to me :P

The sound for the 'Creu' part of the word isn't really a sound used in English. The sound from saying 'Crow' isn't far off but it's not right.

The S should definitely be pronounced like a Z if we're going for the French pronunciation, as per Freefaller's answer.

However I never knew the 'Creu' part was pronounced 'Cru'. I always thought the 'e' made it into more or a 'Crerr' for some reason.
