How do you pull your handbrake up?

On next week's episode of 'Motors - An Overclockers Story' we find out if it's better to open your door with one hand on the lever and the other on the handle or just pull with one hand and push the door open with your elbows.

Riveting drama is forecast!

Either that or you can tell us how many seconds have passed since you last polished your car or changed the wiper blades. :p

Hard call tbh ;)

I have a button like simulatorman which requires me to aplly my foot on the brake and then lift the lever. So much effort :( Audi A8 D3 btw :)

Mine has a foot pedal with no button for the rachet,

Mine too. I think Priuses have them as well.

The foot-operated parking brake being applied is a more gentle noise than the sound of a handbrake being yanked up anyway.
I'm sure those of 'us' who express the preference to pull against the ratchet, do so in a controlled fashion as if counting the clicks to ensure full effectiveness.
Otherwise there's the danger of being mistaken for a clod with no mechanical sympathy and onlookers might next anticipate the glorious sound of grinding gears.
