So we are almost a year into ownership. What mark out of ten would you give the 360 for

Games
Xbox Live
XBLA
Reliabilty
Perhipals
Overall satisfaction

I'd say

8 for games, rarely had nothing to play, now trying to fit them all in.
6 for live, underused, only a few games have got the lobby right.
3 XBLA. Pants two games tops aren't a waste of points.
7 Reliabilty. Yeah ir broke got fixed quick and seems much better.
9 Perhipals Best pad ever, everything seems to work well.
7 overall for me but ive a feeling the next 12 months could be stunning.

Games 8
Xbox Live 10 love the demos and online games
XBLA 4 too expensive
Reliabilty 8 apart from mine having a uber loud dvd drive it hardly crashes, maybe 5 times in a year.
Perhipals 7 but we are only seeing decent stuff like wireless headset and steering wheel, great pad though
Overall satisfaction 9 It does its job as a console and dvd player with great games and demo downloads.

I dont think you can rate reliabilty, because after its broke once i would say it becomes unreliable (a small nit pick i know :( )

Games : Has been good so far so long as you like driving and shooters (which happen to be 2 of my favorite genres) outside of that it's been fairly weak

Xbox Live : I signed up for another year about a month ago so I guess I feel like I am getting my moneys worth. I tend to play multiplayer far more than single player so I get decent usage out of it. I love all the scoreboards and such it allows them to add to games. Matchmaking has indeed been an issue, no game that I have played has made the experience of actually getting into a multiplayer game as painless as it should be.
I love having the ability to download demos and videos directly onto my system, imo this is where the 360 made the biggest improvement over the previous gen.

XBLA : I have only paid for 2 games I think and played demos for another 5 or so. I like the idea but I think the pricking is a little high in some cases and their aren’t enough new games.

Reliability : Got mine in June, it died about 2 months later, never had a console die on me before so I can't say it's been too good in that respect. Took it back and got a replacement straight away which was good

Peripherals : Love the gamepad defiantly my favorite on any console. I also like that everybody on live had a headphone as it means games can be made with voice chat in mind.

Overall satisfaction : I really like it, I haven’t really been a super serious console gamer since the snes (despite buying virtually every home console and handheld since then) and wasn't really to interesting in picking up anything this gen but the 360 has drawn me back in. Surprisingly it's more the platform itself that the games, excellent friends list, voice chat for everybody, downloadable demos, content, patches and videos integrated right in, wireless controller that can start and shut down the system, streaming audio and video off the PC. It really does have a lot of excellent functionality which should have been in consoles a long time ago.

Games - 7 or 8 - not been a massive amount of inovative titles as of yet. Just lots of "safe" Driving and FPS really.
Xbox Live - 10 - Its without a doubt the best bit of it all. Seamless.
XBLA - 5 - Not overly impressed so far. The crappy crosspad on the controller doesnt help any.
Reliabilty - 1 - More crashes than I have had on any console I have ever owned, too many issues in released games (COD2 unplayable online at launch, COD3 stupid menu system where you cannot get back out of the online menu, Lego Starwars crashes all over the place). Publishers using the ability to patch later to get stuff out the door without proper testing. Shocking really.
Having a second console within the year is also pretty unacceptable, I have an original Atari 2600 which has had more play and is still going strong which is quarter of a century old.
Peripherals - 8 - probably too many. Wireless this, charging that, faceplates, multitude of connection leads. They have pretty much everything.
Overall satisfaction - 7

Damn, I was planning to do this thread on Dec 1st! :( :p

Games: 9. The big boys are finally coming out, and it just gets better from here. CoD3, GoW, WWE Smackdown, Lost Planet, Forza, Huxley, Hallo3, Alan Wake etc.

XBox Live: 8. Right now there's too much content (a good thing) but I still struggle to find what I want amongst all of that. As for gaming, it's superb but poorly utilised. Connection problems, lag here and there, or poor netcode.
Look at PGR3 - imo the best game for using XBL - superb features, no lag and gotham TV, and a launch title!

XBLA: 6. Has masses of potential, but right now we need to be patient. The good games will come. Pricing leaves a lot to be desired in some cases, e.g. Lumines.

Reliabilty: Not sure how to rate this. Launch day model and it hasn't given me any probs one bit so far.

Peripherals: 9. MS are about to launch the wireless comms headset, the steering wheel, and to top it all off - the wireless receiver for the PC letting them use our controllers etc. MS know how to make quality peripherals and it shows. The controller is so solid despite numerous drops to the floor.

Overall satisfaction: 10. I hate consoles. I'm a die hard pc gamer and have always been until Dec 2005. I was tired of stale pc games, tired of fps's, tired of no variety. Since the 360 arrived, I play games everyday. I enjoy online play without worrying about cheaters, and best of all - I don't have to spend ages tweaking games and config files. Patching/updating games/dashboard is seamless and I've got a bit power adaptor that can be detached from the mains and used to hit burgulars.

With Vista I'll have media center stuffs, which will make my 360 even more heavily used then it already is.

Games 9/10, the first console to drag me away from the PC

Xbox Live 7/10, i dont like the way many games dont allow you to join online games that have already started and games are more prone to lag than on the PC.

XBLA n/a, I didnt buy this console to play old games, i want next gen :D.

Reliabilty 7/10, Well my first console broke, the second ones been great despite my son dropping it :) The DVD drive is noisy tho :/

Perhipals 9/10, I love the wireless controller, Hard disk, wireless networking and Media remote etc

Overall satisfaction 9/10, lots of features and good-great games that are only 25 quid a pop if you import or buy second hand.

Games - 8. Some very good, enjoyable games but still not played anything that has blown me away, including GoW.

Xbox Live - 8. Don't play multiplayer much at all, but I couldn't imagine my 360 not being connected to Live and the marketplace.

XBLA - 6. Needs more original titles, and some of the asking prices for old games were too high.

Reliability - 9. Launch day machine still going strong, just the very occasional crash in a few games.

Peripherals - 8. I only have the wireless pad and the PnC kit, so cant really comment. Everything seems solid though.

Overall satisfaction - 8.5. No real complaints, a very very good games console.

Only got mine in September, but so far:

Games - 8/10 - About what I expected. Nothing really new in terms of game play so far but impressive graphics on the whole. Disappointed with the slowdown and tearing in some games.
Xbox Live - 9/10 - Being able to download demos is great and seamless online play in games is sooo easy compared to PS2 online.
XBLA - 2/10 - Overpriced games you can generally easily find on the Internet anyway
Reliabilty - 8/10 - Mine's locked up once or twice but other than that it's been flawless and that's all I can really rate it on...still a bit scary reading all the reports of failing xboxes though.
Peripherals - 8/10 - Wireless controllers are great but I think some of the other peripherals are over priced (e.g. £70 for 20GB, £33 for wireless controller, £35 for wireless headset)
Overall satisfaction - 8/10

Next 12 months should be good and I'm hoping to see a lot less slow down and tearing in games along with more titles going on to the budget range.

Xbox Live 8
Great for demos and all games are online only problem is some game lobbys are poor and lagging does my head in

XBLA 7
Need more games cheeper as well lag comes into this too with my favourite game sf2 turbo

Reliabilty 10
I know some people have had problems but i have had my 360 from launch with not one single problem

Perhipals 9
One of the best pads ever thats all that matters to me

Overall satisfaction 8
Great system the best out there right now good price some very good games and it just keeps getting stronger this xmas has xbox 360 up there with the must have items

Games - 9
Xbox Live - 10
XBLA - 7
Reliabilty - 4
Perhipals - 9
Overall satisfaction -10

All the games I have played are Great fun, price is a but high, but I'm renting the ones that are not keepers.

I'd give Xbox live 12 if I could Outstanding platform.
XBLA - I like whats being done there, but I have not baught many of the games.
Reilability. Lets face it the first 6 months were not good
Periferals. All have been outstanding. The controler is brilliant, I look forward to the new headset.

Overall. XBL makes it for me, the console could have been the Jaguar for all I cared but the internet play and community is so good. It makes it for me.

Games - 9 Nice variation of games with one stonker for each genre, quite a good first year I think.

Xbox Live - 10 Pretty much perfect, can't fault it.

XBLA - 4 Not much on it that interests me.

Reliabilty - 5 Launch console went, this one seems ok.

Peripherals - 8 Wireless controllers are a god send, Mic is adequate.

Overall satisfaction - 9 Glad I got one, LIVE is the icing on the cake.

games-10
xbox live-8
xbla-5
reliability-mine=10 in general=6
prehipherals-8
online-9

gears of wars is just.... wow, i never thought graphics like that would appear on a 360

7.5 for games, too much focus on realism and HD and not fun, Sega on board is good, desperately needs next gen gameplay.
7.5 for live, good value, slick interface, but download speeds for demos are poor
5.5 XBLA, good idea but slow release of games, hopefully space giraffe is good and released before the summer, how about some easier settings/games for the kids?
8 for Reliability, launch machine has only froze a few times
8 for Peripherals, good quality pad with good features and extra buttons, good D pad, reasonable prices, good quality cables, pad is uncomfortable for driving games though, needs new controller for FPS ('360 mote' ? ;) ) and start button is in awkward place
8 overall, as its a good piece of kit but still underused, good potential, but PC, Gamecube and Dreamcast still get played for areas it still lacks.

Games 8 Good Range but early frame rate issues on some titles spoils it
Xbox Live 8 Without live the 360 would be gimped, some lag issues
XBLA 8 Excellent Addition
Reliabilty 10 Not one hicup, even after i gutted it and modded the case :D (touching a piece of wood now)
prehipherals 9 Best Controller to Date IMO
Overall satisfaction 8.6 for the average

Games - 9/10 - So many great games. And it is going to get *even* better.
Xbox Live - 10/10 - Can it be better? Very hard to fault it realistically.
XBLA - 7/10 - A few titles I really enjoyed. Outpost Kaloki and Marble Blast are both top. More original ones are needed. I hate the retro stuff.
Reliabilty - 5/10 - My launch day 360 died after 11 months, but replacing it was sooo easy.
Perhipals - 9/10 - Great controller, ability to choose if you want wireless lan etc is good. Wireless headset will be awesome as well.
Overall satisfaction - 9/10 - Good price, amazing games. Simple.

Games = 8
Xbox Live = 8
XBLA = 5
Reliabilty = 9 (I'm not tempting fate here am I?)
Perhipals = 8
Overall satisfaction = 8.5 (A few more like GoW and this will become a 10)

I've had mine since around May and to be honest I only used it on and off for the first few months, been playing it loads the past couple of weeks though, too many good games and not enough time to play them all...

I'm happy with the machine but I'm not very keen on this Marketplace stuff, seems we have to pay quite a few quid for things that ordinarily would have been released free with patches and updates in the past on PC.

Guess those days are now long gone and all anyone cares about is how much they can fleece us for.

Games: 6 - Not enough out there that I want to buy, bar future games
Xbox Live: - 8 Works fine for me, but could be a lot better, which MS are always improving anyway.
XBLA: - 5 - Some fun games, but costs far too much.
Reliabilty: - 9 - Mine has been perfect, but it's not had a brilliant amount of time used.
Perhipals: - 7 - Very good quality, but too expensive regarding the WiFi, but HD-DVD drive is a good price.
Overall satisfaction: - 7 - It's a great console, but it's really lacking some games that I truly want at the moment, and I've so little time to play them.

theres no section for its 'extra' capabilities. Since using this as a media extender for my MCE/day to day PC OMG at how good it is.

Seriously!

anyway

Games 8 - great ones out there but a lot of average ones, trust me ive played lots!

Xbox Live 8 - Great but not perfect yet, too many crap lobby systems etc

XBLA 7 - Fun but pricy and limited, would be nice to see a bigger HD and 'Proper' games Darwinia and uplink would be a start

Reliability 6 - Taken one back because it wouldnt connect via ethernet, no cable detected, on the whole about par with the industry/other consoles

Peripherals 8 - headset needs work but pad is a sheer joy

Media Capability 8 - As long as you have the infrastructure in place for a proper media center extender this becomes the ultimate under TV box no joke!

Total 8.5 - Not an accurate average but thats how i feel about the console as a whole. Generation for generation it easily ranks with how i felt about the PS1 or 2 at the 1 year mark. Its just an awesome bit of kit that i wouldnt be without frankly.

Sweet
