Hi. Does anyone know how to get rid of mould in a tent? I have some mould that built up on the inner part of the tent on a material that is white and looks like a fly/mosquito barrier and I tried to get rid of it with hot water and white vinegar but it's still there.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

You can bleach it but it only removes the colour. The actual mould is there to stay. Make sure you dry it out properly next time.

Don't make skin suits from your murder victims, instead turn them in to canvas-like tent skins to protect you from the elements.

Depends how long the mould has been there. After a while it becomes 'as one' with the fabric and goes past the point of no return.

You can try a diluted solution of Milton or any other mould and mildew remover (Dettol make one I think). But it's likely you'll only get a visual improvement and the spores could stay and you'll still have that musty smell. Worth a try though.
