How do you remove your TIM?

I have to install a new GPU and CPU waterblock tomorrow and was thinking what the best way is to remove the compound? I'm currently thinking nail varnish remover and some cloth,

Acetone/nail varnish remover can leave some residues. Isopropyl alcohol is what you want.

Hmm... Don't have any of that around so I will just be careful with some nail vanish remover then
