How do you run games outside of oculus home?

Guys

Using the CV1 rift, i have downloaded "retro arcade".....ive set it up and installed the game pack but when i run the exe it doesn't show up in the rift, Oculus home does.

Am i missing something here or should it not just load up the arcade game?

I have ticked the "unknown sources" in the Oculus home settings....

Any help would be great

I've not tried that one in particular, but yes I'm terms of running games outside of home, you open Home first to make sure the drivers have loaded, then you run the game and it should just appear in the headset. Are there any options in the game to turn on/off the headset?

I had a similar issue with Elite where there was a 3D option where you had to turn it on and select HMD before it would use the Rift

Strange, i can run project cars fine, but this retro arcade and some roller coaster app just does not open in the headset

I cant find anywhere saying if theyve updated retro for sdk 1.3

I can find people asking for it, but not an actual update?

CV1 needs apps to be updated to the latest Oculus runtime - I can only find it on oculus share and it says it only supports DK1 and 2, so doesn't look like it has been updated for CV1

Your right, it was me being thick all along, i was trying to get that to work for 2 hours lol.

Got it working, it works using Steam VR, but the view is not correct, its places the viewpoint way too high.
