I'm on AOL 8Mb Platinum ( stop laffing at the back :p ) but after a recent reformat before installing and setting up a new wireless network, I've decided to not bother with the AOL bloatware and just use IE and Firefox for browsing.

With the AOL software, its easy to save your fav places/bookmarks to somewhere else on your PC as a back up, how do you go about this in IE and FF?.

Thanks.

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name

You will see the favorites there as a star icon. Just copy and paste to where you want the backup.

*EDIT* If you want to put the backup back you will need to open the star folder called favourites and copy and paste the contents back in as you can't overwrite the star icon as it's a system file.

With Firefox you just import your IE favourites.
