This issue crops up occasionally and it is really irritating. I am trying to open musicnotes player but when I open it and it is on the taskbar it flies off the side of the screen, so it IS open but it won't let me see it. So annoying.

This has happened before and i guess it seems to resolve itself but this is urgent and to be honest I need to know the fix for this. Running windows 7 please help!!

um, if the icon isnt by the time, press the up-triangle and double click on the icon, the program should pop back up

No, I am talking about the item across the main taskbar. Such as when you have, say, a game running, the icon will be on the taskbar on the bottom. It is nothing to do with the program running in the background that can be accessed wtih the upwards arrow.

Say you are running multiple programs- say CCC, Word and football manager windowed- they are all across the bottom of the taskbar. However what is happening for me is that say I click to switch to the word window it flies off to the right of the screen so I can't see it.

Can anybody help with this?

It's ok I have figured it out.

In case anybody else has this issue: Basically you make sure the program is minimised, then hover the cursor over it, right click and select "move". You then use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move it back to the centre of the screen.
