How do you store your eggs?

Ours are stored in a basket on our kitchen worktop. Where so you keep yours - refrigerated or worktop/larder/pantry?

Supermarkets don't store them in a fridge

If your not supposed to keep them in the fridge, why do all fridges come with egg racks?

It's a (crap) selling point

They even say refridgerate after purchase.

But the supermarkets don't store them in a fridge, even when the eggs are only a day from the 'sell before/best before' date, so why should you?

Our eggs come from our local butcher and he sure as hell doesn't store them in a fridge

Ours almost never crack when slinging them into boiling water - makes dippy eggs and soldiers a thing to enjoy
