Lee on Solent vicar let the cat out of the bag, alleging that Santa is not real. Parents buy the presents and eat all the santa snacks left out on Christmas eve.
Cue many tears, he was only supposed to tell the nativity story. :D

This man was sent by Santa to test children’s faith in Him, He routed out the nonbelievers to add to His naughty list.

School... some kid in school told me.. mean little *******! it really upset me at the time and all I was trying to do was algebra.

Some people (idiots) just cant let kids be kids. It's as if some people just want to spoil things.

My son who is 10 said to me this week is Santa real and I asked him do you believe he is? He said yes. I wont take it away from him believing but I do have a feeling he knows the truth already but isn't fully sure and that's fine, hes a kid!

He also asked me months ago is god real and I said the same thing but that time he said no god isn't real.

I'll let them work it out themselves. I personally love the joy of them imagining Father Christmas and want to embrace their naivety and child-like imagination. Life is too serious not to enjoy a bit of make believe sometimes. It's innocent fun. I'm sure my eldest only has a year or 2 left before that starts to become less interesting, although my youngest is still very much in the zone, and it's wonderful to me.

I love this. This is exactly how I feel. Let kids be kids and let their imaginations make them have fun and be happy.

Exactly, they are not hurting anyone in fact we could all learn a thing if we just stop for a second and remembered being a kid.

Also I'm sure there is many many people who say "Respect peoples beliefs" or am I wrong?

My daughter was about 6 when she caught me trying to sneak the presents down to put under the tree. I said I was helping Santa because we don't have a chimney.

I managed to get a couple more years out that before she said she knows he isn't real but likes the fact I put the presents there. I am the present hiding champion though, not even my wife knows where I hide them, even when the boxes are stupidly large.

We used to set traps for santa. Was all part of the fun of growing up. I think we did get a trip wire to get my mum. By that time I think i knew.
