Pretty much as the title says. CPU Z and prime 95 tests processor speed, is there a RAM equivalent?
Memtest at a guess and doesn't cpu-z show memory aswel?
If memory serves my correctly (no pun intended) there is a memory tab on
CPU-Z that shows how fast the memory is running.
Ok. Will have to check again but IIRC when I looked last night I'm sure CPU Z memory tab showed 800MHz. This is the 1600MHz Samsung green RAM
800mhz is showing correctly then for DDR you double this value to find frequency. So its running at 1600mhz then.
dual channel mate -> 800x2=1600mhz![]()
So to me that would suggest my RAM is not OC'd. It stays at 800MHz even with prime 95 running. The RAM shows 11-11-11-28
What is the rest of your system??? Maybe 1600mhz is the best effective speed for your system is it SB Based???
