How do you transfer windows onto an SSD and spec me an SSD too!

Hi guys,

I'm gonna buy an SSD drive and I'm wondering how easy is it to transfer my current windows into the SSD.

Also I have a Msi gd53 b3 motherboard which has 2 6th sata ports, I assume I plug both my hdd and the SSD into these?

Also could you spec me and SSD for around 100 quid.

Clean install of Windows is to be advised tbh.

Even more so with an SSD.

Backup your data, do a clean install of Windows (I assume 7) and copy your data back.

The Crucial M4 is a good choice of drive.

You really need to do a clean install. Partition alignment contributes to the speed of your ssd and most if not all imaging tools don't take this into acount.
