How do you turn Shadowplay off?

Had a new update to GeForce experience and I can't say I'm liking it, I didn't even know how to access Shadowplay until a friend told me the command.

Is there a way to get it to function like it did before? Also is there a way to actually turn it off?

It's located under a tab in the GeForce application. You'll get a small window pop up with a switch and several options. I believe there's a setting tab somewhere around there which will give you access to commands etc.

there was a bug where it stayed on with some drivers.

but in settings you can turn it off.

Which version of Geforce Experience do you have?

It's not called Shadowplay in the latest release and sits under the 'Share' functionality.

Going into settings and turning share off did the trick.

The thing that confuses me a little is having selected a bit rate of 130mbs, upon checking later it will only read 50mbs?

Seems to save it now. God knows how many times I must have clicked save.
