Finished the game a few days ago and now want to uninstall it.

Can't find any uninstall options for it though, either within the start/program menu or in the Bioshock folder.

Doesn't show up in the Add/Remove Programs list and I've also tried using a third party uninstaller program but it doesn't find any mention of Bioshock or 2k games either.

Any ideas?. Must be someone here who has played this and then uninstalled it?.

I'm running Vista Ultimate 32.

Whats that?.

It's nasty DRM which means that you can't install the game ever again and have to buy a new copy of the game.

Okay that might have been an exaggeration but as far as I am aware you can install an activate it on up to 5 machines so if you don't deactivate it on a machine then that activation slot is gone. It seems to work like iTunes in terms of authorising computers but I don't know if there is a "deauthorise all" facility.

Well, having played through the game I can't see me reinstalling it at any point in the future.

However, thanks for the "heads up" on the DRM, been Googling it and there seems to be loads of varying opinions out there on it.

Now I've uninstalled the game, is there anyway to check to see if this "DRM" is still sat on my system?. Is it something to do with this "Securerom" stuff?.

It's not generally bad DRM in that sense, it's the fact that you only have five activations and if you don't revoke an activation you could end up in the situation where you no longer have access to a game you legitimately paid for.

It may be worth downloading the tool and seeing if it acts upon something left in the registry or not.
