How Do You Unshrink T-Shirts?

Mother just washed Two t-shirts ive been saving for me holiday. They are now Small/Medium and I'm an extra large. Any tips on how to get them back to normal? I think its because they were tumble dried on the nuclear reactor setting.

Adding to the post, i had a top which shrunk and i ironed it quite a lot, trying to stretch it a bit but in the end it just wasn't worth it. Had to buy a new one.

Wear em and stretch em out i guess, thats how i do jeans or write em off.

Cotton shrinks when it is washed, full stop. You're probably looking at having to purchase some new apparel with a proper fit.

You can't unshrink it. Once cotten shrinks, that's it.

Stretch it (at your own risk), but I've seen to see a t-shirt stretched.

Might be an idea to stretch it, after it's been in water.

Yup, once the cotton fibres are exposed to heat, such as in a tumble dryer, they shrink in length and this change is permanent. Cut off the sleeves and the neck and bottom hem and walk around like a superchav. You know it makes sense.

I got a nice cheap T-shirt from Jordan whilst I was in Aqaba.

After the first wash it had halved in length and doubled in width...

That always makes my cotton shirts stretch too big for me
