Hi guys, I'm ordering my parts very soon, but I'm getting the asus p8p67 motherboard, and I've seen a few threads about this issue, and apparently the thing to do is update the BIOS? I've had a look on the asus website but they don't yet have a guide for flashing that specific motherboard yet, so I was wondering if one of you guys could tell me how? Thanks, it'll really put my mind at ease because I don't want to buy a motherboard that will cause issues or won't work properly

Asus has utility called EZflash(certainly my rampage formula does, I resume later boards have it too) in the BIOS, and as the name implies, its quite easy, download new BIOS onto a USB and start up the utlity from your BIOS screen, itll walk you through it in the mobo manual, there are windows based utilities too, but I do not recomend using these, its better/safer to do through BIOS, if windows crashed mid update youd be snookered shall we say

Thanks so much for this! So relieved. So its perfectly safe to get the asus p8p67? Cos I've heard some problems about it. Should I flash it after installing the OS? And is it necessary if the pc works fine?
