Having been overweight all my life, I've not seen food as fuel but more a need...anything and everything. Recently had a massive break through and have been a strict detox, before you ask I wanted to see if could and I have.

Now I am clear minded, like a fog has lifted! its amazing I'm eating clean.

no gluten, no bread, nothing with added sugar, no alcohol, no dairy. its almost a caveman like existence but I'm loving it.

Food is now fuel for me.....with the odd dirty meal thrown in for a change.

this has been the most positive change in my life thus far.

So how do you view food?

I cant believe how alive I feel since the detox though. its pretty amazing. Title was a bit rushed, I see it as both too, but now have a much greater respect for the fuel side of things.

I'm with DJ on this one, both tbh.

After logging all my food for a while thru the myfitnesspal app I sharp noticed how much rubbish I was eating, really helped with realising how much a normal portion was too LMAO

For me food is all about fun. Doesn't mean it needs to be "bad for you", it just needs to make me want to eat it, whether it's a chicken curry or a beet salad. Providing it looks and tastes good that's what I care about
