keep an eye on temps while in bios as i dont want to melt my chip. also does everybody run 1.45 volts to get a 3ghz over clock.
I don't think its possible to melt a chip?. Depending which mobo you have it should have a BIOS page called 'PC Health' or similar, you should find your temps in there.

Which CPU are you running?

There should be a health section in the Bios which shows you the CPU temp.

It won't get hot though because its not under load, you need a monitoring program such as Speedfan.

1.45 volts Hmm ? Well, it depends what chip your using.

I had to use 1.6 volts to get my single core 3700 San Diego stable at 2805 Mhz but my X2 4400 only needs 1.55 volts to be stable at 2805.
