How does Lenny Henry get laughs?

Completely true. I worked as a waiter at a charity gig he did once and he was only one of many acts on stage (one of the others was lionel ritchie) but was having a hissy fit like a three year old when told he couldnt have everything on stage set up exactly as he liked it. During the set up before the thing actually started he was properly taking it out on everyone he saw. Complete ****.
 
Only time Lenny Henry has made me chuckle was when I found out he'd married that fat minger Dawn French.

i was a kid in the 80s and LH had about 1 or 2 jokes he was famous for and that was the height of his career.
