How does RMA work?

I ordered the black ops system which has been returned due to damage on delivery, I was wondering if they would just try and "Repair" the system they sent out to me or send me a new one they have a lot in stock.

Just abit worried incase they make a mess of the repair and it will have to be sent back again, would prefer a new working undamaged system like i ordered.....

Anyone RMA'd a full system with OCUK?

I would have thought it depends on the damaged, if it's a case with a big dent then I would assume a new case and the parts will be tested and checked.

Case was fine when i sent it back, im just scared incase they repair it and something brakes a few weeks later when i get it and end up getting the blame for it, Was reading that other RMA thread about the guy and his CPU and dont want that to happen to me.

Its the cpu cooler that had the most damage too it, megahelms big hefty things and the mobo had some damage near the graphics card too....

Fingers crossed they send me a new system tbh, that threads made me a little paranoid.

Ah, Was you the op with the bent cooler ect?

If there is visible damage ect then I would think they will change the board and fully test before sending, I would not worry regards the thread earlier, amount of people who have bought systems have be happy with them, you will always get the problem few systems.

By repairing a system, all you do is swop out the damaged components. No resoldering etc. as it just really isn't possible!

Yeah my brother bought his system from chillblast and had to be sent back 3-4 times due to damage.

Hopefully it wont happen to me and it'll all be sorted when it gets sent back, which ill have to give them a ring tomorrow and find out when i can expect it.

Although according to the forums shipment in newcastle isnt looking too good

I got an email saying it wont be shipped for upto 7 days so there would be no chance to get it for christmas so i cancelled the order, which was a pretty straight forward process so kudos to OcUK for that and they are giving me back my deposit.

Maybe a little disapointed on Xmas day but i'll wait a month or two before i order my new system now.
