How does that look?

As down below had pointed out, I would go with the 7950 GPU he has linked to.

I'd get this ram http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-023-OK&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1516

Turned out to be Gskill RAM.
Wouldn't get an all in one cooler, especially since it's an out of stock bundle :p

Wouldn't touch a Hitachi HDD either, frankly I'd rather pay the extra 20 odd for http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-255-SE

Think you'd have to have some issues not to with the 20 pound for double storage space :p.

I'd also get this for a tenner more http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-054-HS&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1673

For SSD I'd have to go for the tried and tested http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-153-SA

I have no complaints :)

You'd take a 7870 over a 7950 for only a 10 pound difference and CL11 RAM over CL9 RAM at the same price?

Ah, yes, my bad, I did not look at pricing I just read the card as the 7970 as I do not normally look at the 7870.

Ram, I personally would go with the TeamGroup.

Wierd post by Martini. Wouldn't use that RAM he suggested but some 16000 stuff like:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-114-GL&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517

Nothing wrong the HDD either, only problem is its out of stock. Here is one in stock same price:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-025-TS&groupid=1657&catid=1660&subcat=2271

The CL difference doesn't make any real word difference so...

Not sure how it's a weird post.

1600MHZ CL11 from teamgroup or Gskill 1333MHZ CL9? Obviously it's personal preference, but it's far from weird.
Also black PCB versus green (Assuming the team group is green, but I assume it is, it's a stock picture, the OCUK stuff isn't actually OCUK stuff, same with GPU's and DVD drives)

Can you prove its G.Skill.
Also like I said better of with the 16000 RAM over the 1333.

It's OCUK stuff, you get what they have at the moment.
Which at this moment in time/Friday was Gskill black PCB.

You don't think there's actual OCUK memory do you? Same with the OCUK DVD drive and OCUK GPU's?

For proof, that's what turned up for me, and likely what the OP would get.

If it was for me, I wouldn't get either though.
Certainly wouldn't get a hitachi or that Intel SSD.

Tamzzy that looks the business....thanks

I went for the corsair bundle to save money but I might as well skip it and look elsewhere. The 7870 prices and the 7950 price drops make the upgrade to the 7950 a no brainer :)

What is that dragon RAM like? There aren't many customer reviews on here for it. Does it run at 1600 default yes? I'll be clocking the CPU to 4.4 so would there be anything I'd need to do with that dragon RAM at that 4.4 OC?

Also not too sure on that cooler, anyone recommend another decent cooler under 55 quid that would fit in with that build nicely?

The only reason I'm going for a 500 gig HD is that he has 2 external 1TB HD's and doesn't really need that much more in the way of storage...or should I get him the full 1TB HD anyway given the cost? I'm just ttrying to save as much for him as I can.

I would get the 1TB HDD instead of the 500GB as the price difference is just abit more
