so its been a good number of years since ive had an idevice and im currently deciding whether or not to switch back to apple (an iphone 11 once the 12 is released)

the question i had was how does the iphones deal with downloaded files these days. pdfs and the like?

android i had a file browser, i go to the downloads folder and i open the file. is it as easy on an iphone these days?

I don't use it very often but yes, it's similar. It also syncs with iCloud so if you have a Mac, you can easily share files between them.

Pretty much, yeah. There's a downloads folder that you can go to and open the file with any app you want (or sync with iCloud, GDrive, etc).
