I been a forum lurker for a while now recently signed up to pick your brains etc..
So yea finally managed to get the misses to agree on me getting a gaming machine ! :D

Obviously i have 0 expirience with it all :confused: So how does this look:

I reserached that the ATI 5970 fits but can anyone confirm this ?

Nah i can make do with my keyboard and mouse there not top line stuff but they do there job...

Windows 7 is included in the price up there

im toying with the idea of a new monitor was looking at:
BenQ G2420HDB 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor [9H.L3ALB.QPE]

Staying AMD

Staying with the case because i will enjoy it for years best looking case Ocuk excluding the Zalman Gt900 *way to expensive*

Im unsure about the Ssd because there so expensive for the amount of storage *windows boot's 30 sec faster does not concern me*

Flexable on the GFX card *only just if i did get the 5970 its lasting me*

im allready over what i would like to spend

I dont see any answers if this is a good system spec or not !?

£1,500 -600 is budget im over by 95 :rolleyes:

I see equall amount of post regard the i7 a waste of money as i do the 5970 at the moment...but at least with the 5970 it will last longer im only going to have to change again shortly if i go with a lower card
and any how im getting the lani li case and its got an AMD logo on it :D

I May stick with the Asus Crosshair III Formula as i will be attempting an Oc at some point and it just sounds beginner freindly if im honest :)

Now with the money saved im totally unsure what i should go for a new shiney monitor or a 2nd gfx card :D

Nah i will probably end up getting rid of this imax i have and imagine selling it as a full comp will get slightly more ??

Monitors crap any how if im honest when i got this machine from a pre build shop they had run out of the monitors that came with the pc so i have a no brand monitor..
seriously it has no branding on it at all !?

And yes but if i manage to sell this machine im on now for £150-200
will at least have a little more flexibility

I do allso play around with 3D modlers on this machine but it dies on me half the time allways messing round with 2D and 3D engines so.. yea i am looking for a kick

So nobody here try the logitech game board ??
