Thinking of going with this setup as my current PC is getting on a bit. How does this look? I already have a PSU and case. The PSU is 600w, will that be enough?

Like I said you can afford a 3900x
With the savings

Not a bad idea at all, will help with future proofing.

The OCZ 600w Modxstream-pro is quite old now, I am probably better off with a new PSU for peace of mind. Do you know a good one to go with?

Get the X570 Gigabyte Aorous for £170 recommended above and a 3600X. Then upgrade to the 4000 series when they launch this year.

I wouldn't be spending big money on a CPU especially for gaming. The 3600X is the gaming king. The 4600X is going to be the new gaming king. Pointless trying to future proof just upgrade the cpu and sell the old one on in a years time.

Good point. I will only be using it for gaming so I don't need to spend mega bucks on power that will just be wasted. Playing at 1080p too.
I will consider the 5700xt. I've heard all about the driver issues but the latest seem to fix it from what I hear.

Saved me quite a few pennies indeed. I have been with AMD the past few years (290x) and fancied a change anyway, so I will go with Nvidia this time around. Cheers!
