Hello all.
If you have a moment and the inclination, could you look over this spec for a self build that a friend of mine (on a limited budget) wants me to help him put together.

Case- Zalman z9 case
Graphics card- Asus GeForce GTX 660 DirectCU II OC
Motherboard- Asus M5A78L-M/USB3
processor- AMD FX 8350 black edition 8 core
RAM- 8GB Corsair 1600mhz Vengeance (2x4GB)
Hard drive- 500GB S-ATAIII 6.0Gb/s
Power supply- 550W Corsair VS

Any feedback more than welcome.
Thanks in advance.
Jon.

I wouldn't match that motherboard and PCU together.

I'd get ATLEAST a 970 chipset motherboard for the 8350, though preferably a 990X motherboard.

I won't go with High profile Vengaence RAM either, the Heatsink is pointless (:)) and will interfere with big air coolers which limits your future cooling options.

Though overall i'd personally drop down to the 6300 and get a 7870 LE. :)

^ Agreed on that.

That'd be fine with the 6300, yeah. Don't bother with 760 chipset boards with an 8320/8350 - the best model for those at the least price is the Asus 970 EVO 2 (about £80-£90). And don't get an 8350 anyway, the 8320 is better value.

I'd get a 970/990 anyway, as it's far more up to date, and will work with Steamroller next year.
