Hi Guys

Just finished getting the main bulk of my hardware setup and looking for some advice. What started as a simple CPU/Mobo/RAM upgrade has turned into a whole new computer!

I currently have the following setup

Asus P55P7D-E LX Mobo
i5 760 @ 4 GHz @ stock volts!
2 x 2GB Corsair Dominator 1600 RAM
XFX 5700 XXX 1GB Gfx
Corsair HX620W PSU
40GB Kingston SSD with Intel TRIM Firmware
1TB Storage Drive
500GB Storage Drive
2 x 120GB 2.5" Laptop Drives in RAID
DVD RW

This is currently housed in a month old Xigmatek Asgard case and the CPU is cooled by a Zalman 9300. The CPU idles around 40 and gets to around 80 on P95.

I don't have enough room to make it look tidy so will be ordering a Fractal Design R2 Pearl Black next week to give me more room and a better hard drive layout.

Am going to watercool the CPU for now and add the GFX to the loop later on.

Currently I have the following on order.

EK 120.3 Rad
EK Multioption 200 Res
2m XSPC Black 7/16 Tubing
2 Bitspower 1/2 Barbs (OCUK only had 2 in stock and no ETA for more stock so might have to order more elsewhere)

Was thinking about the EK 2.2 pump and either the EK Supreme LT block or Heatkiller v3.

What do you guys think about the pump and block? Will they be sufficient for my loop (no idea what order to place them in yet)

Cheers

Tom

The EK Supreme HF is the best cpu block at the moment and it fit's all current sockets out of the box. The Heatkiller only fit's a single socket. Something you should take into account as your next upgrade will involve a new socket.

Pump wise, most people on here would recommend a DDC with a top or a D5.
