How does this spec look?

Right have been on a budget and wanted to build full system, Already have a logitech mouse and got the mobo cheap from mm.

This is the spec I've put order in for.

What do you think? Will be used for gaming. (build thread to come)

its ok, would have changed the WD 640GB for a 500GB samsung F3, picked a 955be cpu over the 965be, and picked a slightly cheaper but still good PSU.

then a 60-64GB SSD could have maybe fitted in.

oh and picked the new Antec 100 case which is a few £ cheaper, looks better and has a black interior.

The price difference between the 955 & 965 is only £6 ~ at the moment so sitting on the fence.

Def change the HDD to the Samsung F3 1TB or 500gb.

Why would you pick the F3 over the WD? Just the WD looks to be quicker?

60gb ssd is £30 or so more.

They aren't faster, rather just full of pointless tech which is useless for a harddrive.

+1 I'd also pay that much as the 965 is better.

If you make some of the changes suggested, including getting a 500w psu,then a bigger SSD is possible.

Apart from a 200mhz difference which can be reclaimed very easily, can you explain why its better please? Because im sure most people would rather have £££ in their pocket.

well there's a higher chance of having a better binned chip.

PSU was ordered when they were £58.99 for first 50 orders. So It was too good to pass up tbh as I already had it in my basket.

ive seen you recommend this psu in other threads, doesnt matter now anyway as OP has said hes bought the OCZ 700w ModXStream when it was on offer.
