Hi all, getting Vista on thuesday, yay!
Anyway, for those of you that already have it, how would one go about setting up a RAID0 config?
I read that you no longer need a floppy drive to do this, can one just use the CD that came with the motherboard for the drivers, or do I have to make one.
Would be great if one could just put in the cd from the motherboard and be up and running ;)

I couldn't install Raid0 on Vist last week. I set Raid up in the Bios and seleted a 16k Stripe. It went onto the Vista setup and loaded the files, and when it restarted the computer I just got the error "Operating system not found"

After trawling the net for some time I managed to get some working RAID drivers for my nforce 4 chipset. Before I had to install xp and then create an upgrade over the top.

I have a LP Ultra-D nforce 4 board and set-up RAID 0 in Vista by getting the modded drivers from the last tutorial here and they worked first time :) vista saw my RAID and it's all good..........!!!

Hope this helps someone ;)

Yep, I have the same board and used the same drivers. Worked a treat.

I had to load the drivers from a floppy to install Vista on my DS3. But there were no problems.

About the only thing different with Vista is it finally allows Raid/HD drivers to be loaded from something other than a legacy Floppy....Doubt any motherboard would have a support CD with Vista raid drivers for quite some time

Hi,

Does anyone know if this is also the case for an ABIT AW9D-MAX, I have the floppy drivers.

Was wondering if Vista would have had the drivers available.
