Looking to get a K800i on July 21st (when I get back from holiday :D ).

I'll probably pay £50 for the phone if its not free by then on a £19 contract direct from o2 most likely.

I don't really use my phones heavily at all but if I were to start doing so, is it easy to upgrade my plan and at no cost?

Also if I start on say a £25 instead or maybe £30 to get the phone for free can I downgrade it afterwards to the lowest one? :p

If you start on a low price plan and want to move up to one with more minutes texts your gonna have to pay whatever extra a month the next price plan costs.

Think im right in saying, and its certainly true for orange, that you can't downgrade your calling plan for the first six months ( at least ) of your contract. At least not without penalty...

Probably true for all - Otherwise people would get a £50 contract to get a £300 phone for free, then change to the cheapest the next month.

you cant change down for 6 months on t-mobile either. Changing up you can do instantly afaik.

Upgrading is all at no extra cost (apart from monthly bill  ) afaik

watchout because if you go for any promotional offer sometimes you will lose it and end up paying more if you change (up or down)
