As title ? Iv got Vista,XP,Ubuntu already on my laptop, boots fine, but I also need freeBSD for development reasons and uni work, can you Quad boot easy enough ? will freeBSD just add itsself to the grub menu ?

Shouldn't be that hard if you're careful, just install it in it's own partition and make sure FreeBSD doesn't overwrite the grub config. You'd then just need to edit your Grub config.

Wouldn't it be easier to use VmWare - That way you won't have to mess about rebooting all the time.

Its possible, either span it over many drives or make lots of partitions on one drive.. just be VERY CAREFUL!

I installed xp, vista and ubuntu on one machine, i would suggest installing in this order - largely cos it worked for me

XP, vista, FreeBSD (Because i dont kno what boot loader it uses but GRUB will pick it up) then ubuntu - using the alternate CD since it seems to be a lot more stable installing the GRUB - i say this just because i know along time ago the liveCD had a bug in it where it sometimes had trouble installing the right info into GRUB
