how easy is it to overlock sandybridge?

seriously considering an upgrade atm, i have a i7950, but its seriously p****** me off trying to overclock it and keep it stable (novice)
wondering how easy it is to overclock the newer generation of processors in comparison?

Very easy if you get a 2500K or 2600K processor (unlocked multiplier) and a decent motherboard.

i watched a quick video and all it seemed they did was change the multiplier and up the vcore?

It depends how far you want to overclock.

Upping the multiplier and VCore will get you so far.

After that you need to tweak a few other settings.

lets say I was going to the same speeds as the overclocked bundles available from OCUK?
4.6ghz
