Hey guys

Thought I would post this up. This is a system that has been built a member of staff at Corsair. They have never built a PC before and this was their first attempt.

The whole system took him only around 1 hour to build. For anyone who likes cable management and a great looking interior inside your PC's chassis this case really is the best option.

Take a look at the pics that were sent over to me.

Yeah. I've seen many videos and images of this case as I'm about to get it.

Certainly seems very easy to manage the cables.

From seeing the corsair videos and various builds on here it does look like a very good case for cable management. I actually considered one myself but sadly couldnt stretch my budget. Opted for a lian li a70fb as it was a fair bit cheaper.

Loving that cable management system in there.

If only there was a similar case but in a MIDI version, then I would consider replacing my Akasa Eclipse..

Asides from the money problem (which can be overcame by stopping buying every deal that comes on steam >.< ) my concern with this case is an apparant lack of airflow.

I intend to watercool before the year is out but until the end of summer at least I'll be running on air. Is it worth my time buying one of these bad boys for air cooling? or should I stick with my 902?

Lack of air flow shouldn't be a problem. you have a back vent to blow air out and the option to attach 3 120mm fans to the top of the case to blow air out which is more then enough scope for adequate air flow if your just air cooling.

I actually built my system in this case on Monday also.

Airflow is not an issue at all. The HDD cage has a dedicated fan blowing side on the HDD's the air hits the side panel and is sucked towards the top of the case due to having 3 x fans at the top of the case sucking warm air out of the case. The fans were not supplied with the case though, you need to supply those seperately.

The rear of the case has a 140mm fan pulling warm air from the CPU and GFX area, this is great. And quiet too.

Previously my case was an Antec P183 but this Corsair is quieter, and that is with 5 case fans running on top of my GTX 295 fan, CPU fan and PSU fan. MY Antec P183 only had 2 case fans running.

What fans did you get for the top 3 and have you fitted some form of dust filter?

Tempted by this case too, quite tired of buying a case and finding out it lacks something, so I have to buy another a year later. This case seems like a case which will last for 5+ years easily, from what I've seen the case is perfect. Only downside if you would call it that is the size, for some people maybe a little too big. :P

I fitted the fractal design fans to the top of the case, and I have not fitted any dust filter as the air is being sucked out, not blown in.

Wow this case has kinda blown me away... I lost interest in cases a while back when things were going a bit ott. Im a Lian-Li man see! love simple clean lines with no tacky frills.

But this corsair case would solve my problem big time! I could basically get rid of my row of towers and start again with just one machine full of drives and that would also make my missus happy, but I hear this case is massive... how massive is it? Also the cost would make my lass faint lol.

Here are a couple of pic's compared to the G15 rev 1 keybaord (one of the biggest every made) and my 24" screen. My screen looks tiny compared to the case :)
