How effective is the noise dampening cases?

So I'm looking to get the a nzxt 440 but as I like my silence how effective would it be noise dampening it and also as I'm not much of a DIY'er anyone had experience with OC doing the mod for me I knw the do builds so if I do a noise dampening case only build would they take this on?

I got the mega Black Friday bundle so anyone got any advice comments or any input on my ideas
 
From what i've seen of reviews the Fractal R4/R5 is quieter; the 440 looks nicer but i've read it struggles to get enough air inside. The case is only half the problem either way, the fans are what decide most of your case noise, i like lots of very low rpm fans.
