Well I've finally found a car I wanted. Only done 1.8 miles (i.e. from factory to parking lot and then to dealer).

Behold the Fantastic Audi A4 2.0TFSI S-Line SE. 220BHP of pure fun in a can.

Preliminary shots of car at dealer, will finally get my hands on it on Tuesday next week!

Yup Audi Stansted. The reason for the white covering was that it had only been delivered that morning.

I just wanna drive it, espcially after having an R reg Volvo S40 1.9TD with a whole 95BHP

Nice car :) How much did that set you back if you dont mind me asking.

Brave buying it without test driving first mind, you might not like it!

I swear the dealer was just teasing me with it. you could see the lines and everything peeking out from under the white covering, I sat inside but it still had all the coverings on it too so i couldn't see it all :-(

Wish it was quattro but that would have meant a factory order and I couldn't afford to wait for one of those as that would have meant a 12 week wait :-(

List price is about £27K, on a contract hire mind so its not that bad I need a good car for 100 miles a day.

I drove an Audi A4 1.8T as a tester with similar spec inside and I loved it hence why I went with this one... its funny, brand new with 1.8 miles on it haha

I've part ex'd it, but even so I wouldn't even offer them. The car has some major fundamental problems with the engine, and I don't think the suspension is right either so I wouldn't want to offer it as parts as I would worry about the person who used them.

I'm going to look at an A4 tomorrow.
A4 1.8T Quattro Sport, 190 bhp 6 speed,61k on the clock on an 04 plate. Heated and electric front leather seats.
18" RS4 alloys (I think) PDC, etc etc.
Price of a shade under 11k from a garage.

Fair enough, its a shame it was only interior trim and the ariel i was really after. I've replaced pretty much everything else

I was being sarcastic and if you compare it to my current car then yes it is :-) Most fun I've had was in a 3.0l V6 twin turbo GTO that my mate had or my girlfriends 2.0l Twin Turbo Subaru Legacy when we where in new zealand last!

something like the A4 is great as a daily car to have thats quick-ish and to chuck around. in fact it covers mosts bases pretty well.

will do the trick for 100 miles a day... (which is not as excessive as it sounds, only 36,500 miles a year

Well I finally got it last tuesday. Only got round to taking photos yesterday... Needs a clean as the dealership didn't do a good job. Escuse the crappy BT digital vault thing:

Linky to Audi pics

Drives like a dream!
