Hey,

I have a evga7950GT with stock OC of 560MHz and 1450MHz. I have fitted a modified arctic cooler X1 to it, because they don't fit those cards (was a pain in the ass). So I've upped the voltage to 1.35v from stock 1.25v, which allows me a stable clock of 635MHz and 1600MHz clock, which is pretty nice. With the new cooler it is reaching maybe 52'C at those clocks (3 runs of 3dmark 06)...

Concidering it used to run at 60'C unclocked with the stock cooler - do you think I can push for maybe 1.4v and higher clock speeds? What do you think?

Hah, yeah thats what I thought, I think I will wait until my DS3P arrives before I really push it. Stuck with p5b-vm atm :\

Defcon what voltage does your 7900GS run at?
