Using a Coolermaster HAF 912 case

images

Have a 220m on front & 120mm on side blowing in,
220m on top and 120m rear blowing out.

Gigabyte Z68a-d3-b3 mobo, 4x2gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram, gainward gtx 570

Intel Core i5 2500k with Coolermaster Hyper TX3 Cooler

Everything is running at normal speeds atm whilst running a blend test on prime95 heres some stats

Not sure which temperatures are right, the Gigabyte TouchBIOS software or RealTemp.
Processor is currently 33x (3.3ghz). Ive read a lot about people overclocking to 45x (4.5ghz) but mines reaches high 70s within a couple of minutes at that speed so I stop it as was told to stay below 80c.
How far could I go or should I be able to go overclocking judging by these temps and my cooling equipment?
And what about my graphic card aswel, is it worth overclocking that and to what speeds? Think its normal speeds atm

Thanks

being told on another forum that my CPU Cooler is bad and I should get a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ with dual fans.... are they right or is mine good enough?

by the way from those pics there, the temps, which is my CPU's actual real temperature? they are all different, hard to decide which is which :|

your cooling is good for a basic overclock, and yes there are much better coolers out there but if your cooler does the job to meet what you want, then it's not a bad cooler :)

ok so overclock it to 4.2ghz, and get it to run at the lowest possible vcore i can.. and then ill run prime95 and report back with what temperatures im getting
then tell me whether or not i need a new cooler

every chip is different, you need to just mess about with it and stop posting over and over again without replys mate, thats what the edit option is for.

ok sorry about that will edit from now on then

right ive messed about with it for the past how ever long and ive managed to get the vcore to -0.180, it says its 1.15v in touchBIOS, cpu is at 4.2ghz thats the lowest VCore it would boot up in, it bluescreened on -0.190. so is the best for me to keep it cool ?

heres my temps now while running prime95 blend

hows this?

Im happy with my temps at 4.2ghz for now saves spending any extra money

Just tried overclocking my graphic card though, gainward gtx 570

default its at 732mhz and mem clock is 1900mhz

tried changing it to 750mhz and 1950mhz, was running fine..... temp stayed below 60degrees and the fan was only at 60%... but after about 20 minutes, deus ex crashed to desktop :( I was hoping to increase the speeds even higher but after that game crashed, im not so sure i should bother.. blah
