How far/long is your commute?

Two places of work, one is 60 miles one way the other is 30
I get paid 45p a mile for the 120 mile trip twice a week.

My car does about 500 to 600 miles per tank so I profit!

I travel from Watford to Chiswick, takes approx 1hr from door to desk.
I would probably move closer, however, not likely to find a nice flat for 600pcm in London

Commute on my motorbike over the forth bridge wouldnt be the same in a car.

On the odd time I go by car it takes 20 min with no traffic, 25-30min with heavy traffic.

Company I used to work for: 20 minutes.
Company I work for now: Between 2.5 to 4 hours each way. That lasted for 9 days (the commute had a small part to do with that), now it's a couple of metres and has been that way since March/April.

I commute 40 miles round trip each day by car. Can take me anything between 30 mins to 1.5hrs. I could easily get a direct train which is 3 stops away and 19min journey..... but I don't like trains
