How far should I go?

Okay looking into foraging into watercooling and I'm at that stage of deciding how far I should go with it, namely my case is a Lian Li PC-A71F which is a lovely case but isn't perfectly suited to putting in as much cooling (rads) as I want to as it is so to speak, I was looking at going CPU + SLi GPUs but may have to reconsider, see below, so my options are

1) Leave it all as is and with new build just go for single GPU
Pros - Cheapest by far, no modding to be done which could potentially destroy my lovely case if it went Pete Tong
Cons - Single gfx card system, wouldn't have that bling factor

2) Go for dual cards in current case and source a new top from US
Pros - If do go dual cards its least risky as above
Cons - potentially long lead time sourcing from states, and if wrong panel (lots and lots of Lian Li top panels, all very similar but slightly different) gets sent can see all sorts of issues

3) Dual cards in current case and mod it
Pros - Sense of achievement largely, could in theory make it exactly as I want
Cons - Could still be expensive as I have never modded before so would need to buy all the tools to start (though it could be an investment for future too) Also as I've alluded to before, worried if it went wrong Id be wrecking my lovely case

4) Dual cards in a new case that's ready to use as is
Pros - Again wouldn't be potentially ruining my current case, probably quickest option of dual card setups to implement
Cons - Id have a very expensive and nice case sat doing not a lot

So opinions please on what I should go for, and any reasoning's too, must admit the sensible side of me is pushing me towards option one

3 or 4

If it was me i would do 4 but i can't be bothered nodding if you don't mind and you have the tools then go for it. Just make sure you plan well

what spec is your rig.

You might need a bigger case to fit the rads anyway. Not looked at the size of that case im on my phone so its a pain

Depends how much you think you are going to need to mod your case. If it's a matter of making a rad fit in the top of the case, then all you need is a decent drill and a 114mm hole saw and your good to go.

There are double and triple rad templates available on the web. Print them off tape them to your case, mask it up and begin!

Well option 4's looking less likely as I've been looking at new cases n can't see any I like that are ready to go "as is" so to speak, best one really is Corsairs 650d and if it were set up to take a 2nd rad in the front as well as up top I'd of prob gone for it, but it's not
Don't know why but I'm not feeling drawn towards option 2 really either
Which leaves me with either stay single card set up n no modding, or go dual cards but mod the case, whilst I'm getting a bit more comfortable with the idea of modding the case, it's the having to purchase all the tools to do this which is putting me off, just driving the price up more n more

OK well I decided to go option 3, **** it, worst thing that can happen is I have to buy a new case, I'll hopefully be starting in next 2/3 weeks but may order a few bits n pieces this week as there's a few bits I want on TWO
If anyone is interested in seeing me dremel my lian li pc-a71f to death they'll be a build log in the project logs section for you all to have a laugh at
I'll prob start it this weekeend with my plans and update it as I go
